Owner and founder of Mo Pippy Music, Phil graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from DePaul University in 2012.

Phil has been performing as a musician since childhood -- he started playing trombone in his grade school school band when he was 9, and began playing bass when he was 14. He played throughout high school in various ensembles including orchestra, chamber groups, marching band, pep band, jazz band, jazz combo, and pit orchestra.

Now Phil plays bass for several bands, appears on dozens of recordings, and has performed at well-known venues such as House of Blues, Jazz Showcase, Double Door, Lincoln Hall, Schuba's, Cobra Lounge, Cubby Bear, Metro, Subterranean, Reggie's Rock Club, Fitzgerald's, Evenflow, Beat Kitchen, Pritzker Pavilion, Arlington Racetrack, The Arcada Theater, and Madison Square Garden. Phil currently teaches guitar and bass lessons at School of Rock in Schaumburg and is a Director of Performances.

Phil is available for lessons, live performances, recordings, performance coaching, weddings, private parties, and any other collaborations.
